Cooking fish can be a bit intimidating for some, but it doesn't have to be. Fish is actually very easy to cook with, and can make a quick meal. I love salmon because it has a mild fish flavor and it's quick to cook. When I first tried this recipe I fell in love with it. The salmon had a very nice citrus flavor and connected well with the salty soy sauce. Try it!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 Salmon fillets with or without skin
  • 1 to 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • Lemon pepper to taste
  • 1 Lemon
  1. Step 1

Pre-heat your oven at 400 degrees.

  2. Step 2

Lightly grease a baking sheet with butter or olive oil and place salmon on baking sheet.

  3. Step 3

Mix the butter and the soy sauce in a bowl with a wisk or fok and brush the mixture over the salmon. Sprinkle salmon with a generous amount of lemon pepper.

  4. Step 4

Bake salmon for 16 minutes or until it easily flakes with fork. When finished squeeze the juice of half a lemon onto the salmon and garnish with thin slices of lemon.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can place the salmon over white rice and pour some of the remaining juice over the it.
  • A good side dish would be green beans.
  • Cooking time may vary depending on your oven.
