How to Give Someone Warm Fuzzies

Give them a warm fuzzy

"Giving someone warm fuzzies is often a term used that means to make someone feel good. Here's a fun craft to do with kids that will give them warm fuzzies inside and out!

Things You'll Need

• Small ball of yarn (any color you like)
• Scissors
• Wallet, cassette tape, bottle of lotion, or anything several inches wide.

Instructions

1. 

   Unwind some of the yarn and loop it around your wallet. Hold this end in place as you continue to make your warm fuzzy.

2. 

   Wind the yarn around the wallet many times. The more winding you do, the "fuzzier" your warm fuzzy will be. In the example pictured, I wound it about 50 times.

3. Slide the warm fuzzy off of the wallet and onto your thumb. Move the entire fuzzy as a unit rather than by pieces. If you move it in sections the fuzzy will become unraveled and you will have to start over.

4. 

   Tightly wrap the trailing string of yarn around the midsection of the fuzzy.

5. 

   Use your scissors to cut the string. Locate the starting string of the fuzzy and tie it to the end string that you just cut. Tie it tighly so that the yarn is secure.

6. 

   Next, cut the loops of yarn. You only need to cut each loop once, at the peak of the loop. This will give you two separate pieces of yarn.

7. 

   Fluff your warm fuzzy. Warm fuzzies are a great gift for kids on Valentine's Day, or any day you want to give someone the warm fuzzies!
