Google Calendar is a great scheduling and organizational tool, but it can also be used as a to-do or goal list everyday. Learn how to easily set up Google Calendar to keep track of what you have to do.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Google Calendar
  • Schedule
  • Things to do
  1. Step 1

Sign up for a Google account and select the Google Calendar option from the list of possible applications. Open the calendar in month view by clicking on the tab at the top right hand side of the screen.

  2. Step 2

Click on "My Calendars" on the left side of the screen and select "Create" link at the bottom edge of that box. Each different category of your tasks should get a different calendar with a different key color. For example, make a blue calendar for house cleaning, a red one for work tasks, and a yellow one for your kid's sporting events.

  3. Step 3

Select the day of your first task by clicking on that calendar day in the month to the right. Input the task title and the calendar it coincides with. To create a recurring task to-do, click on "edit event details" and fill in the appropriate information.

  4. Step 4

Use the calendar as a to-do list by viewing it at the beginning of each day, and throughout the day, and deleting each task as you complete it. This will help you stay organized and complete all the things you need to get done without stress or worry.
