Things You'll Need:
- A glass to rim
- Chocolate syrup
- 2 small plates
- 1 heaping tbsp. cocoa powder OR
- 2 tbsp. cocoa flakes
-
Step 1
On one plate squeeze out a half dollar-sized puddle of syrup. On the other put out your flakes or powder. For a one-plate alternative, check out the tip section below. If using powder, spread out the powder to cover an area equal to the rim of the glass. If using flakes, arrange them in a compact line.
-
Step 2
Holding the glass at a 45 degree angle, roll the rim through the puddle, coating it evenly.
-
Step 3
If using powder, merely turn the glass upside down and dip in the powder. If using flakes, starting at one end, roll the rim to the other side.
-
Step 4
Pour your drink and enjoy! Check out the articles at the top for other chocolate-based garnish ideas and drinks that can use them!
