Things You'll Need:

  • A Wii system and Wii Sports.
  1. Step 1

Learn how to use that putter. Wii golf is very similar to actual golf in the fact that the putter is the most important club. Mastering this club is the first step in mastering any golf course, Wii or reality.

  2. Step 2

Remember that the swing in Wii golf is some what similar to a real golf swing when diealing with the hands. The legs are not used in Wii golf, but the speed of the club and keeping the arms in line are critical to a good gold swing.

  3. Step 3

Learn the Wii golf course. Like a real course their are slopes, drops, hills, hazards and just about everything a regular course can offer. Learn what club works best in what situation and attack the course.

  4. Step 4

Understand the effect of wind on a golf ball. Any strong wind will toss a golf ball around the course like a whiffle ball. Learn how to adjust to the wind.

  5. Step 5

Practice, practice, practice. Wii golf is like any game, the more it is done the easier it gets. To get better means playing and heck it also fills a golf fix those stuck in the cold winter months.

Tips & Warnings
  • Wii golf is not a replacement for the game and for the most part will not help out your golf game. However, it can help with hand movement and ease the pain of not being to play outside.
