How to Update you YouTube Channel Background Image in 5 Easy Steps

This is an easy 5 Step process to update your YouTube Channel Background image and create a unique and personal YouTube Channel.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• YouTube Account
• Background Image
• Computer with Internet connection

1. 

   1. The first step to updating your YouTube channel design background images is to Log In to your YouTube Account by click on the Log-In link at the top of any YouTube page.

2. 

   2. Once you are logged in to YouTube, click on the Account Link at the top right side of the page. This will take you tu the YouTube My Account Page.

3. 

   3. On the right middle side of your YouTube Account Page find the link for “Channel Design” and click on it. This will bring you to the Channel Design Interface.

4. 

   4. Use the Upload Button to navigate to the file on your computer that you would like to use as your YouTube Background image and upload it. (File should be under 256kb)

5. 

   5. Now you should use the update channel button at the top or bottom of the screen to activate and save your changes. Enjoy your new YouTube background image.

Tips & Warnings

• If you upload an image it may take several minutes to be able to see it if you upload another image.
• Make sure your image file size is less than 256 kb
• Some web sites have great free images to use for Youtube (ie. http://customyoutubepage.com)
