Tell If a Guy Likes You
Tell If a Guy Likes You

So, you're attracted to a guy at work or school. And while you don't mind making the first move, you wish there were little cues to indicate how he feels about you. Before risking embarrassment, here's how to tell if a guy likes you.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Acts nervous or quiet around you. If he's normally outspoken or the life of the party, and he suddenly becomes shy whenever you enter the room, there might be an attraction. His unusual calm demeanor may indicate nervousness. He either doesn't know what to say in your presence, or he's afraid of saying the wrong thing.

  2. Step 2

Finds an excuse to touch you. Some guys become affectionate when they like a girl. He may put his arm around you, playfully hit you or touch your hair.

  3. Step 3

Notices eye contact. When intrigued or interested in a girl, some guys develop a staring problem. If you catch him looking at you on several different occasions, this can indicate an attraction, especially if he offers a smile.

  4. Step 4

Examine his body language. A person's body language can indicate how they feel about you. When talking to the guy, look for cues such as leaning his body towards you, or titling his head towards you.

  5. Step 5

Enjoys talking with you. Guys are generally less talkative them females. So when a guy makes every effort to start a conversation with you, and he shows genuine interest in you, he likely wants to know you on a deeper level.
