Orange is a great color for a party in the middle of winter or a great way to celebrate fall. Orange can be celebrating Leukemia awareness, a bright summer fruit or a fall harvest color. It can be great for a bob the builder party or a jailhouse party for adults.

  1. Step 1

First is decorations because they make the first impression. Start with party basics like plates, napkins, balloons, silverware and tableclothes. Curtains, pillows, flowers, fruit in large clear vases, streamers, boas, leis, party hats.

Oranges are obvious for your food options but go farther. Cantaloupe, carrots, bell peppers, squashes, cheese crackers, cheese, persimmons, papayas, sweet potatoes, corn flakes, pumpkins, orange creamsicles, captain crunch cereal, apricots, lo mein noodles, chinese orange chicken, cheddar cheese. Drinks are tang, orange juice, orange soda, and fanta soda.

  3. Step 3

Next is getting the guests involved. Costumes can be jail inmates, bob the builder, race car drivers, pumpkins, oranges, witches and the tuxedo from Dumb and Dumber. Games include a costume contest and an orange toss.

  4. Step 4

Play the Real Housewives of Orange County on Bravo TV or the Orange County teen movie. Listen to Vitamin C and Depeche Mode's album Agent Orange.
