Set Reminders On Your Iphone

The iphone is an incredibly powerful device that can search the web with the swipe of your finger, load email, give directions and so much more. One of the most useful options for me however is also one of the simplest. Reminders can be set to pop up at whatever time or day you need them listing the information you need. Its very basic but with your busy schedule it's easy to forget important things and this handy little feature will ensure you don't.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Touch the calendar icon on the home screen of your iphone. It has the day of the week and date on it if you are not familiar with the icon.

  2. Step 2

When you go into your calendar simply click the plus sign on the top right of the screen. The add event screen will pop up allowing you to enter all the information for your reminder.

  3. Step 3

Click TITLE LOCATION and enter what you would like the reminder to say. It can be for a specific event or just a message to yourself to return a movie or call a client back. When you enter the information you need, click the save button on the top right.

  4. Step 4

Next click the START ENDS section and choose the date and time you would like the event to pop up on your phone. Click save again and continue.

  5. Step 5

The next sections are REPEAT, ALERT, and CALENDER. REPEAT is for entering messages that can be set to re-occur daily, weekly, ect. It is only used if you want the message to re-occur otherwise disregard. ALERT is important because it tells the phone when to display your event. If you do not choose an option for this, no message will pop up to remind you of the event. CALENDER is the calendar you would like the event to be added to. I don't use this and its not necessary if you do not have multiple calendars in your phone.
