Follow this guide if you'd like to delete your old browsing history.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

If you are using Internet Explorer, this is quite a simple process. First of all, scroll up to the tab near the top or top right side that is labeled "tools." Scroll down the resulting menu to the selection labeled "internet options."

  2. Step 2

Inside the internet options, there is a section labeled "Browsing History," with a button below labeled "delete." Click the delete button and make sure that you check the box that says "delete all offline content."

  3. Step 3

Deleting the offline content removes any saved web pages and cookies that may be slowing down your computer. Deleting your browsing history is a good thing to do every so often because cookies and offline webpages can really add up and slow down your internet and computer speeds. Sometimes, a website will harmlessly save its page to your computer for faster loading later, but eventually these pages can add up.
