How to Make Your House Smell Good The Natural Way

Make your house smell good. Did you ever walk into your house and thought it smelled musty or stall? What about when you cook seafood or fish? Have you ever left a diaper in the diaper trash can a little to long? Do you have a relative or acquaintance that likes to inspect your housekeeping? (friends love you regardless of how your house smells) When your house smells good no one looks behind the fridge to see if you've dusted. Most importantly it make you feel good. Things You'll Need

  • 1 small pan
  • dish cloth
  • two cups water
  • potholder
  • heatpad
  • knife
  • lemon
  • orange
  • vanilla
  • cloves
  • cinnamon
  • parsley
  • vinegar

Instructions

    • 1

      Put two cups water into pan put on stove bring water to boil. Turn stove eye to warm. Set timer for ten minutes. (You don't want to forget you have this on stove)

      Cut up small lemon and orange. Place slice of each into water on stove. Let simmer. This will give your house a nice citrus smell.

      Mix a few drops of vanilla, some cinnamon and cloves with your citrus mixture and your house will smell like you've spent the day baking cookies and cakes from scratch. This is a great smell if you're trying to sell your house. It creates a homey smell.

      Put small amount of steaming water in a cup put into bathroom to extent the smell to other parts of house.

Tips & Warnings

  • This is a great way to use lemon and oranges that have gotten old and dry.

  • Vinegar in steaming water is a great odor eater.

  • Don't forget to set timer. Turn eye off after timer goes off. We don't want to start fire.
