Your Valentine's Day gift basket reflects you!
Your Valentine's Day gift basket reflects you!

The best Valentine's Day gifts take thought and planning. Anyone can wander the store until they see something they can use. A loving wife can always make her husband the perfect Valentine's Day gift basket!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Basket
  • Something to fill it with
  1. Step 1
    Simple baskets work well

Buy a basket, choosing the size gift basket you wish to fill. You know your husband better than any other person on this planet-think what he would like. Keep it a basic color, nothing frilly. Remember that your husband will want to feel manly when he opens his gift and that is hard to do with hearts and bows everywhere!

  2. Step 2

Choose: Sexy or fun? Which would your husband prefer? Maybe it will be a mixture of both! Valentine's Day boxers for him can line the bottom of the basket. A negligee (that you wear for him) on top of the boxers.

  3. Step 3
    Does he watch sports?

Fill it with his interests. Is your husband a sports fan? Include a coffee cup or two from his favorite teams filled with packages of his favorite drinks. Snacks for watching the games can also help fill the basket. If the season is right, tickets to the game might make him forget everything else (except the negligee.) If the season is over, how about sports apparel?

  4. Step 4
    Does he play sports?

Capture his athletic ability in a basket. Instead of a fan, does your husband play sports? Lucky you! His gift basket will be a cinch. Tennis balls, golf balls and tees, baseball mitts, and more can be added to make this a Valentine's Day gift basket to be remembered.

  5. Step 5
    Car fan gift basket

Put his hobby on display. If your husband is a car fan, tickets to the antique auto show will make a hit. A gift card from his favorite auto parts store will fit in just right. Little gifts for his car, like deodorants, wax or Armor All, can top off this car fan gift basket.

  6. Step 6

Consider his interests. Maybe your husband is more studious, really not into sports. No problem. A gift card to Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com will be a good start. Look for a book he has been wanting to read and put it in the gift basket. A nice reading lamp or book night light will be appreciated too!

  7. Step 7

Buy new gadgets. A husband that loves technology is easy to please when you fill his gift basket. How about a new iPod? Just add a couple USB flash drives, DVD and CD discs, gift cards to Best Buy, and a good computer magazine can top off the bottom gifts.

  8. Step 8
    Reflected love!

The bottom line is this, you know your husband. Choose items that he would love and fill his gift basket. Make a homemade card to express your love to him and just wait to see the love reflected in his eyes!
