Although Carpal tunnel syndrome is considered an occupational risk, it is not just the repetitive motion but the position of the hands or wrist that contribute to carpal tunnel syndrome, Any one whose job or hobbies involves repetitive motion with their hands is at risk for injury.Signs are often burning, tingling of the skin, and numbness in the palm and fingers. Symptoms can range from mild numbness and tingling to unbearable pain. As with any affliction, diet, nutrition and vitamins are an important part of controlling the ailment.

    Avoid foods containing sodium.
    Include in your diet foods high in vitamin B6, such as avocados, bananas, nuts, salmon, chicken and sweet potatoes.
