Step 1
Check online stores. Looking on different websites for a deal is an easy way to find cheap rugs. Craigslist and Ebay are good websites to utilize. These sites offer cheap rug deals from stores and owner to owner sales and obviously auctions. Online sites sometimes function much like newspaper’s classified articles, because you can negotiate a prices, however, there may be more driving involved because the rugs may not just be local deals.

Step 2
Search outlets (Factory Stores). Outlet Malls and Factory Stores are another option that offer good deals on cheap rugs. These places offer scratch and dent, mismatched, and overstock items at discounted prices, well below retail value.
-
Step 3
Browse the newspaper (Classified). The newspaper is one of the older, but still well used ways to buy cheap rugs. Look in the classified section on a daily basis to find deals. Although the newspaper does not get as much traffic as online websites, it will give you good deals on cheap rugs locally. Also, individual owners are more likely to be flexible on their prices so you will have room to negotiate.

Step 4
Look in local department stores- Last but not least are department stores. Department stores are obviously the more expensive option of the four to buy cheap rugs, but they still offer good deals if you keep your eyes open. Usually, department stores offer discount their prices on merchandise during the weekend, and many times the stores will meet or beat other stores prices in order to receive your business.
