How to Lube a Window Metal Sash

A metal window sash can be stuck, squeak or become frozen shut during cold weather. This easy method to lubricate a metal window sash will prevent sticking, put an end to squeaking and reduce the possibility of the window becoming inoperable during cold weather. The waxes and solid oils in bar soap do not freeze so the window will not freeze shut from cold weather and condensation. Unlike solid bar soap, liquid oils and sprays can drip and leave a mess. Lubricating with a regular bar of soap works very well and leaves no mess behind. Does this Spark an idea?
