Things You'll Need:
- lotion
- eggnog
-
Step 1
BOIL SOME WATER.
Boiling a pot of water will add moister to the air that has been zapped by heating your home. Add cinnamon and a dab of vanilla to the water for a nice aroma therapy. -
Step 2
TAKE A BATH.
Have some left over eggnog you don't want to waste. Pour a couple of cups into your bath water and soak for about 10 minutes. Bath oils or an oatmeal bath will also help itchy skin. Not a bath person, then switch bath washes to one with extra moisturizers. -
Step 3
TURN DOWN THE HEAT.
If you're walking around your house like its summer chances are your heat should be turned down a notch or two. Turning it down will allow some moisture to stay in the air and save you money on your electric or gas bill. -
Step 4
FIND A GOOD LOTION.
During the winter a good lotion is a must have for your hands and face. A good lotion doesn't mean pricey. The off brand for Aveeno is a great one to try. Look for small bottles in the travel section to find a brand you like.
