With Apple's new software release, iPhone users now have the capability of using Google Street View in the maps application. Street View lets you see maps like never before - it's literally like you are standing on the street, looking at your destination. You can pan in and out, and even turn around so you can see what is across the street from a particular location! Best of all, its free and easy to use!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Click on the Maps application on your iPhone.

  2. Step 2

    Either search for a particular address in the search bar on the top of the page, or find it yourself by panning on the map.

  3. Step 3

    Once you are at your desired location, click on the bottom right icon (it looks like a sticky note that beginning to curl up).

  4. Step 4

    Click on the "Drop Pin" option, and if needed drag the pin on the map to the desired location.

  5. Step 5

    When tapping the pin you have just dropped, you will notice a new icon that appears on the tab banner. It is at the far left of the banner and is a white figure on an orange round background. Click the icon, and it will initiate into Street View.

  6. Step 6

    From there, you can walk down the street by clicking on the direction arrows that are visible on the street, or pan your view to look around - behind you, to the sides, ect.

  7. Step 7

    Enjoy! You never know what Google has caught on camera, so be prepared for a good laugh!
