Things You'll Need:
- Money
- Time
-
Step 1
Start the day off right. Leave a few hand-picked flowers and a special card somewhere that your lover will find them first thing in the morning. Cook a special breakfast of pancakes with fresh strawberries on the side. If your loved one enjoys coffee, make sure there is fresh brewed available.
-
Step 2
The second step requires pre-planning. You will want to buy a small gift, teddy bear, candles, etc. In cahoots with your loved one's co-worker, arrange to have this token placed on their desk. This will surely be a surprise.
-
Step 3
Third, if you have the ability to do so, plan a special lunch (you can skip this step if you are planning to go out for dinner). While at lunch, give your sweetheart another small gift, perhaps a box of chocolate truffles...
-
Step 4
Fourth, arrange to have roses delivered to work. The bouquet should also have a balloon, or some other adornment attached. If it costs too much in your area, you could make this yourself by buying the roses, the vase, and the balloon. Deliver it yourself. By the way, this step is a great one since all the ladies love to brag about the flowers that arrived at work.
-
Step 5
Next, pick your lover up from work and take out to dinner. If not going out, make dinner at home, and don't forget the candles. This would be a great time to give the gift of perfume.
-
Step 6
Lastly, make sure you have picked up a nice lingerie set and have it beautifully wrapped and waiting on the bed.
-
Step 7
If you complete all these steps, or your version of them, your sweetheart will have a Valentine's Day to remember.
