Step 1
You will need to know your car's mileage in order to calculate a car's age in people years. You can do this by looking at your car's odometer.
-
Step 2
You will need to know the year your car was manufactured, also called model year in order to calculate a car's age in people years.
-
Step 3
Divide the mileage of your car by the year the car was manufactured in order to get the car's perceived human age. For example, a car with 100,000 miles with a model year of 1982 would be the perceived human age of 50. A car with 50,000 miles with a model year of 2006 would be the perceived human age of 25.
