How to Make a Jean Purse Out of Old Jeans in 15 Minutes

Have you ever wondered what you could do with those old jeans from 1992 that are sitting in the back of your closet? In about fifteen minutes you can create an adorable little jean purse out of one of the pockets! This is a great arts and crafts activity for parents and children to do together.

Difficulty: Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Old Jeans
• Needle and Thread
• Scissors
• Embellishments (optional)

1. 

   Cut the pocket out of an old pair of jeans.

2. 

   Cut the button out of the jeans. Be sure to leave some fabric abound the button.

3. 

   Turn the pocket inside out and sew the button onto the inside pocket.

4. Cut a small whole on the front of the pocket for the button to go through. Make sure that you are careful to line up the whole to the button, so the button will go through easily.

5. 

   (Optional) Use fabric glue to add embellishments to the pocket. This is the part where you can get creative and make it really special.
