Things You'll Need:
- If you have a Floppy drive a Floppy Disk., If you dont have it, you will need a software burner and a spare CD-Rom.
- A decent Internet Conection.
- Access to your BIOS configuration

Step 1
First Step is to Determine who the the manufacturer for your Motherboard is, the model number and year built as well as your BIOS Version, you may read something like Award-Bios Ver. 4.11.01 .You will find this info somewhere in the top left or right corner of your initial boot screen.

Step 2
Once you have this info, go to the Motherboard Manufacturer Website and Search for BIOS Updates or Flashes, usually you will find the software along with the update manager in the download, the Update manager is usually called something like "Flash Update or Utility Tool".
Download this and copy it onto your Floppy or CD-Rom disk. -
Step 3
You have everything you need, Shut your computer off, and Reboot your computer under the DOS-Prompt, acces your floppy or CD-Rom and start the update utility, It will ask for your current file version and whether you want to save it (Highly recomend you to do it)if you save it it will ask you where to save it once it is done saving it it will ask you where the new version for your BIOS is and will "Flash" your BIOS and Update it.

Step 4
Congatulations, You Flashed your BIOS, now remember you will have to reconfigure your BIOS again with all the settings for your Hardware so it will work, this you do AFTER Rebooting since the memory has to clear the old BIOS, once rebooted enter your BIOS and Go to your option that lets you Load your DEFAULT Settings, Reboot again and the set your BIOS up.
