A cake that's not really like a cake, more like a moist chewy brownie with hot fudge sundae sauce on top. Rich and or so chocolatity.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1-1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 squares melted unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1-16 ounce Coke
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • pinch of salt
  • 2-teaspoons vanilla
  • 2-cups chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2-cups sugar
  • 1-cup evaporated milk
  • 9x13 baking pan
  1. Step 1

Cream together, 1-1/2 cups sugar and 1 stick butter until smooth. Add 2 squares of the melted chocolate and eggs. Stir in 1-3/4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda and the Coke. Blend well.

  2. Step 2

    Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Grease and lightly flour baking pan.
Pour cake mix into baking pan.

  3. Step 3

    Bake 30 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    While cake is baking:
melt 2 squares unsweetened chocolate, add 1 stick butter, 2 cups sugar,
1 cup evaporated milk, pinch of salt, 2 teaspoons vanilla and 2 cups walnuts or pecans.
    Cook for about 1-1/2 minutes.
When the cake is cooled pour this mixture over it.
Will be like hot fudge sundae sauce on top of the cake.
Serve warm or cooled. Good either way.
A little vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top then a cherry to top it all off.

Tips & Warnings
  • Still good lefted over.
  • Can just zap in microwave, just enough to get it warmed up.
  • Can't eat just one piece, so if dieting do not try this.
