- Candy canes
- Wreath
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Red velvet ribbon
- Christmas tree
- Clear glass vase or bowl

Purchase a box of candy canes in shades that will compliment your color scheme. Red and white candy canes are the most common, but some specialty stores carry many other colors.

Take either real or artificial evergreen wreath and wrap a red velvet ribbon all the way around. Secure the loose ends with hot glue on the back of the wreath so it is not visible from the front. Hot glue candy canes around the wreath. Depending on the size of the wreath, one to two boxes of twelve candy canes should suffice.

Add candy canes to your Christmas tree. Simply hang the candy canes on the tree every six inches or so. Make sure this is the last ornament you put on, as they can drop and break easily.

Take a clear vase or bowl and fill it with a copius amount of candy canes. Wrap the lip of the bowl of vase with a red velvet ribbon tied with a bow. Place the vase or bowl as a centerpiece on a holiday buffet or on a kitchen table.
