This article is about how to make a cute little reindeer craft holder that is fun for little ones to help make

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • scissors
  • craft,glue stick,or glue dots
  • terracotta clay pots 2"-5"
  • Plastic googly eyes
  • red pompoms (glitter ones are a fun addition
  • Three shades of brown craft foam, card stock,or construction paper.
  1. Step 1

Begin, with one shade of the brown paper(I used card stock),cut the antlers to match the size of the pot. Note: If you are making the larger of the reindeer, use a child's hand print as a pattern.

  2. Step 2

Then, you want to cut the ears with another shade of brown. The ears should be shaped like a leaf with a straight cut at the bottom. I used a lighter shade of brown for this part to add yet another layer to the ears(the double layer isn't necessary, though).

  3. Step 3

Next what you want to do is glue the ears to the back of the terra-cotta pot. Then you attach your antlers next. Glue on your googly eyes and your red pompom nose. Lastly, you fill the pot with candy, or nuts, or what ever you want! It's that easy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Use colored eyes for different looks
  • use all three:foam, card stock and construction paper
