How to Make Home-made Dog Cookies

You will learn how to make your own dog cookies from things you'll find right in your kitchen and your dogs will love them.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 cups of Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/3 cup dried milk
  • 3/4 tsp. of Baking Powder
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 10oz. can of beef broth
  • 2 tbsp. of bacon fat or Crisco.
  1. Step 1

    Combine dry ingredients.

  2. Step 2

    Now add remaining ingredients. make sure you add enough beef broth or chicken broth.

  3. Step 3

    Mix well and knead. place flour on your counter top so that the cookies don't get stuck to your counter top.

  4. Step 4

    Roll out 1/2 inch thick using a roller and use any small cookie cutter available.

  5. Step 5

    Place on greased cookie sheet. use a spatula to lift the cookies onto the cookie sheet. If not put on a greased cookie sheet the cookies will stick to the cookie sheet.

  6. Step 6

    Prick with fork. you do not have to do this but it helps.

  7. Step 7

    Bake 40 minutes at 350°F. be sure to preheat your oven before you start.

  8. Step 8

    Let sit out of oven until harden. You can also leave it in the oven on the lowest temperature for 2 hrs.

Tips & Warnings
  • put flour on your hands before you knead the cookies so that your hands don't stick to the cookies.
  • make sure you have all the ingredients before you start mixing it up.
