Look at the back of each brand of pantyhose you buy to get the right size. Different brands have different size charts based on height and weight. Pantyhose that are to big will not help shape a body or hosiery that are to small will be uncomfortable may create bulges else where.

Buy ultra sheer pantyhose without spandex for thicker ankles. There is no stretch or shrink to these hosiery, so they bag on thinner ankles.

Pay attention to what the pantyhose is made of. The more dinier in a hose the less see through the hosiery will be. The diner also helps the hosiery keep it shape. Spandex is a material used to for shaping the body but can make hosiery uncomfortable for women with larger ankles. Try ultra sheer pantyhose without spandex if you find regular hosiery uncomfortable around the ankles.

Step 4
Look through the different type of pantyhose offered for shaping or just plain support. Even if you do not care to wear tummy support of other shapers, support hose can help relive some pain in the legs and feet from walking. Avoid using hosiery do go down in a dress size but they make a pair of slacks that feel awkward feel great again.

Step 5
Pick a color of pantyhose to what suits you the best. Remember that the lighter the color of hosiery that larger the legs look. Pattern stocking draw attention to the legs.
