Things You'll Need:
- computer
- ebay account
-
Step 1
Go to www.ebay.com; create a user account if you don't already have one.
-
Step 2
Make a list of things you'd like to buy
-
Step 3
Think about common misspellings of those items or ways to search for those items that are not obvious or straight forward. Example: "cmputer" "Cumputer" "compter" "Computr" and so on....
-
Step 4
Try searching Ebay for the misspelled words you created and see what comes up... eventually you'll strike gold. If they seller didn't put a reserve price you could get an item for pennies on the dollar.
-
Step 5
When thinking of misspellings try also to look at the keyboard and find letters that may be out of place in the word(s).
-
Step 6
Sometimes when people list items they spell them incorrectly or accidentally put a wrong key stroke in their listing name. This creates an opportunity to buy that item cheap because very few people will come across it when searching due to the misspelled word(s).
