How to Download YouTube Video To Zune

The Zune is the popular portable music/video player from Microsoft, similar to the Apple iPod. The Zune can play media such as music, games, FM radio, and video. YouTube is the popular website where users can post their own personal videos online. This article describes how to download a video from YouTube to the Zune.

Instructions

1. First you need to find the video you want to download to your Zune at YouTube's website at www.youtube.com.

2. Copy the direct link to the YouTube video from the "URL" text box on the right of the YouTube screen.

3. You need to convert this video to MP4 video format so it is compatible with the Zune. You can do this by going to the Media Converter website at www.mediaconverter.org.

4. Paste the link you copied from the YouTube video into the "Convert a video directly from various portals" and click on "Next Step".

5. On the next page, select "MP4" under "Select File Type" and click "Next Step".

6. Click "Next Step" to start the file conversion. This may take a minute or two depending on the size of the video.

7. After the file converts, click "Download Now" and save it to your "Videos" folder on your computer. This should be under "My Documents" for Windows XP users, or your user folder on Windows Vista.
