The last days of winter break seem to just inch by here are some activities to help keep kids busy.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A big box
  • old wrapping paper from the holidays.
  • white glue
  • markers
  • crayons
  • fabric
  • google eyes
  • yarn
  • bits of fabric
  • any other craft supplies.
  1. Step 1

Take a big box (file boxes work well) and give your kids all the art supplies. Have them make a story on the box about what they did during their vacation.

  2. Step 2

Have your kids make a special thing for the box each day. We have ours make up stories, creat puppets, make masks. Anything goes the sky is the limit. I put journals for each child just in case they just want to write.

  3. Step 3

Place all the neat items in the box. I take the box out when ever I hear the words, "Mom I'm bored what is there to do?" I have several of these boxes just to take down. I find they keep kids busy sometimes for hours. The box becomes a keep sake of all your winter/New Year events you have shared and every year adds new expirences and fun.
