If you are a woman who suffers from menstrual cramps, and most do, there are natural ways to ease the pain. Here are some effective ways that I've found to ease menstrual cramps naturally.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Cut down on your caffeine intake. Caffeine tends to make cramps worse during menstruation. Cut it out all together if you can handle it. Drink less coffee, caffeinated teas, sodas, and any other products that contain caffeine.

  2. Step 2

Take fish oil to prevent cramps. Fish oil contains natural anti-inflammatories that will ease your menstrual cramps. Consult your doctor on how much fish oil is appropriate for you. Pumpkin seeds work to reduce cramps as well as they contain a natural muscle relaxant.

  3. Step 3

Exercise. Walking and other mild exercise can go a long way in easing the pain of menstrual cramps. Exercise releases natural endorphins that can help in reducing cramps during menstruation. Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program.
