Bring all required paperwork with you such as assets, evidence of why there was a divorce, anything that could help your case. This will make things go a lot faster. Have references of people that can vouch for you, bring someone along if possible that can speak along with you. It's ok to be nervous. Take note cards with you so you don't forget to say anything. Always shake hands before and after and look them in the eye always. After the first appointment make sure you know whats going to happen next. Maybe there will be another appointment to come back or maybe the lawyer will need to contact some references but make sure you know what will happen next. The key is; be very persistant.
