Step 1
Do not drink caffeine. This includes pop, coffee, and any food or drink. Many people think coffee will help wake you up, but really it will cause a worse headache.

Do not eat raw eggs or all bread diets. Instead, eat some breads or carbohydrates, as well as a very small portion of fatty foods. For example, have a bowl of white rice, a piece of bread, and a small piece of pizza.

Do not take a cold shower, rather take a lukewarm bath. Getting through a hangover is about relaxing, and letting it pass through your system. Cold showers will only excite your nervous system, inducing the headache even more.

Do not light scented candles. This has become popular with the increase of air fresheners. While it may seem nice to have sweet, refreshing scents, the best smell is clean, odorless air!

Do not take hangover prevention pills or even Acetaminophen (Tylenol)! What these pills do are aggravate your stomach, worsen your hangover, and increase chances for liver damage!
