Things You'll Need:
- wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.
-
Step 1
Lie on your back with your knees bent at a 90 degree angle and your feet flat on the ground. Hold your arms at your sides with palms facing down. Regulate your breathing. Take deep breaths in and out.
-
Step 2
Exhale as you extend one leg by letting the heel slide away from your body. Only move it as far as it will go before your back arching changes. You don't want the movement to arch your back or make it completely flat. The back should remain neutral.
-
Step 3
Inhale and exhale as you bring your heel back up to start position. Switch legs and repeat. Do this exercise 6-12 times.
