Freedom and forgiveness go hand-in-hand. You will never be truly free until everyone on your "list" is released from bondage. Who have you not forgiven? Although you may have a legitimate reason for not letting go the wrong they caused you, you must. For the sake of your own health and happiness, you must. For your own freedom, you must. Once you forgive them, your mind is free to focus entirely on your own limitless potential. Let's discuss how to get started.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Identify the situation and those involved. How do you feel about this right now? On a scale from 0-10 (0=not very, 10=extremely), how upset are you?

  2. Step 2

Write a note or letter to those involved, expressing your thoughts and feelings. You will NOT send this document, so be honest.

  3. Step 3

Now, use your physical body to help move this negative energy. Do you need to punch a pillow, take a walk or yell at the top of your lungs? Go ahead and do it.

  4. Step 4

Find a quiet place to sit. Close your eyes. Imagine what it would feel like to let this go for good. What blocks in your life would be released? Is this old situation affecting your current relationships, financial abundance, health or your ability to enjoy life? See this circumstance or person moving further and further away from you until you can no longer see them. Then, see what you DO WANT moving closer and closer to you, until you are immersed in this new reality.

  5. Step 5

Take a deep breath. Let it all go. Give it all to the universe. Say to yourself, "I accept my freedom. I release this. I am free!"
