Instructions

    • 1

Steep 4 tea bags in 8 cups of water. Remove tea bags after 5 minutes and store in the refrigerator. You'll want to make the green tea in advance to chill it.

    • 2

Assemble the sparkling punch right before serving. You can halve the recipe if you don't want as much punch or you can make it larger if you need to serve a bigger crowd.

    • 3

Add ice and chilled green tea to the punch bowl. Pour ginger beer into the punch. Add 4 to 6 scoops of sorbet if you like.

    • 4

Serve with a scoop into small punch glasses.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you want to make this in advance, don't add ice or sorbet until the last minute.

  • When searching for ingredients, be sure to find only the best sources. The ginger beer, in particular, should not contain too much sugar. Your best bet is to look in your local health food store.

  • Make sure the green tea isn't too strong or else it will overpower the punch.
