If you're like me, you love you some ginger ale. It's greatness is manyfold: its crisp and refreshing, seems in some way better for you than most other sodas, it works as a non-medicinal remedy for motion sickness, and its a citrusy soda that doesn't make you feel like a 6 year old for ordering. Alas, most restaurants and/or convenience stores don't carry it at their fountain machines. Here's what you do in that situation.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Coke/Pepsi/Cola of some kind
  • Sprite/7-Up/Sierra Mist/ Lemon-Lime soda of some kind
  1. Step 1

First ascertain that the place you're at doesn't actually have ginger ale, since I'm sure you'd prefer to not have to trouble yourself or your server to make one.

  2. Step 2

Fill a glass with your own desired amount of ice. As with most sodas, the colder this is, the better. Sorry Brits, you are mistaken in your temperture proclivaties.

  3. Step 3

Start with two parts lemon-lime soda.

  4. Step 4

Add one part your select cola.

  5. Step 5

Enjoy your delicious makeshift ginger ale.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add a squeeze of lemon for taste.
  • Don't skimp on the cola or else it just tastes like weird sprite.
