Step 1
The first thing you need to remember is that downloading copies of games is only legal if you own the original. Please don't steal as this costs corporations millions of dollars a year. Only download legally!

Look for a Sega Genesis emulator. An emulator is needed so that your computer can recognize the files that the games are stored as. There are lots of free Genesis emulators, so don't pay for one. When you find one, download it and install it. I suggest making a special folder on your desktop to house all of the games you download so you don't lose them.

The games are saved in a form called "Roms," and a simple Google search should yield thousands of results. When you find a game you want, download it to your file and open it with your emulator. If it doesn't work, search online forums for help.
