We used to make things in art class with paper mache, and it was so fun. I remember making piggy banks out of balloons, and other things. We always enjoyed it so when I was looking for something to do with my kids, I looked online for how to make paper mache. We have a lot of fun, and I hope you do too.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • pot
  • bowl
  • something to stir with
  • 1/2 cup of multipurpose flower
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 cups of cold water
  • 2 cups of boiling hot water
  1. Step 1

In the bowl mix 2 cups of cold water with the 1/2 cup of multipurpose flour. Stir and it will make a paste. Get the lumps out. Keep stirring to make sure lumps don't form. You want it to be a smooth paste.

  2. Step 2

Add the paste into the 2 cups of boiled water that is in the pan. Stir and stir out any lumps. Keep stirring so no lumps form. If you stop stirring it can become lumpy.

  3. Step 3

Bring it to a boil, and then remove it from heat (still stirring).

  4. Step 4

Add the sugar and mix well. As it cools down it will thicken.
