  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 3-5 stalks chopped celery
  • 4-6 mushrooms
  • 1 Zuchinni
  • 2-3 Habanero peppers (optional)
  • 1 packet Lawerys Chili Seasoning
  • 1 Can Kidney Beans
  • 1 28 oz can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 6 oz can Tomato Paste
  • 1 can hot seasoned chili beans
  1. Step 1

    Step one for cooking chili with this recipe is to clean chop and prepare the vegetables including the onion, zucchini, celery and peppers.

  2. Step 2

    Step two for cooking chili with easy recipes like this recipe is to brown the beef and chop the ground beef up as it cooks.

  3. Step 3

    Then, put in the vegetables and saute them for 5 - 10 min.

  4. Step 4

    Add some minced garlic cloves and in the habanero peppers then sauté for a few more minutes.

    Add a can (28oz) of diced tomatoes plus a small can of tomato paste (6oz) + 2-3 6oz cans full of water, more or less to preference, and simmer for 15-20.

    Add a can of dark red kidney beans, a can of hot seasoned chili beans then add a packet of Chili seasoning by McCormick’s or Lawry’s, then simmer for 20 – 30 more minutes. *Adding extra chili powder, oregano, or extra cumin is good at this point too.

  7. Step 7

    The final step in making the best chili with this recipe is to serve the chili with diced onions and shredded cheddar cheese on top!
