Step 1
Temtex Kinesiology TapeThe Kinesiology Taping was developed in the nineteenseventies by the japanese chiropractor Dr. Kenzo Kase. Today it is used for therapeutic rehabilitation in hospitals, clinics and sports.

Step 2
How does the Kinesiology Taping work ?
The elastic Temtex-Tape is applied on and around muscles to support the movement and prevent over-extension to ensure a free range of motion at the same time.
When muscles over-extend or over-contract they become inflamed, swollen or stiff.
The space between the skin and the muscles is hereby compressed, resulting in constriction
to the flow of lymphatic fluid. The pain receptors beneath the skin communicate ‘pain of the muscle’. -
Step 3
Skin structureThe Temtex-Tape with an elasticity of 150-160% lifts the skin above the hurting muscle, reduces pain, promotes the flow of lymphatic fluid and improves the flow of nutritive substances.
Without Taping: pain and pressure With Taping: lifting up skin and massage -
Step 4
Kiensiology Tape shapesHow to use the Kinesiology Taping Common taping configuration:
The Temtex-Tape is normally applied in different shapes unstretched
on the dry, fat-free, shaved skin above the optimally stretched hurting
muscles, so that the skin will form convolutions in a relaxed position.
The Temtex-Tape can stay on the skin permanently for up to 7 days
thus stimulating the hurting parts 24 hours a day.
The Temtex-Tape is breathable and water-resistant and can be worn
even in water while swimming or showering. It should only be blow-
dried afterwards. -
Step 5
Temtex Kinesiology TapeMaterial
The Temtex-Tape carrier material is made of 100% cotton. The cyanoacrylat glue is put
on the liner in a wave shape, is good for the skin and sticks best after about 30 minutes.
Temtex-Tape is without any addition of medicine.
For aromatherapy you can combine the Temtex-Tape with essential oils.
Temtex-Tape can be stored up to 2 years at 10-25°C and 40-70% humidity. -
