Getting dressed for work does require some effort. Your current business casual dress code, may require you to look the part at all times at work. Nothing is worse, than clients or customers questioning if you are working right now. Here are a few tips to help you with examples of business casual wardrobe
for women.

1. 

   Purchase basic pieces that you can mix and match. Find neutral colored pieces. A great example is a pin striped suit with colored stripes. The main color could be gray, taupe, brown, blue, or black. These pieces even though they have a design in the fabric it is still considered a neutral.

2. 

   Wear nice slacks. Wear the best quality trousers that you can find. For example one nice pair of tweed pants worn with ballet flats or heels will
   always look very professional.

3. 

   Obtain a nice knee length or slightly longer pencil or a line skirt in a neutral color.

4. 

   Select blouses that have structure to them. Shirts with collars with seaming. Silk or satin printed tops layered with light sweaters, blazer, jackets, or vests.

5. 

   If you are wearing jeans for casual Friday, always wear dressy jeans. For example you could pair a blouse with a blazer and belted dark denim trousers. You would not wear tennis shoes. Instead you would wear ballet flats, slip on mules made by Clarks, or comfortable boots or pumps.
