Things You'll Need:
- Internet
- Time
-
Step 1
The number one place to get free shipping boxes, is recycling around your house. Did you know you can ship in a cereal box? Cover with a brown paper bag and it is a great box for shipping clothes and other soft items. Start looking around for other boxes you can save and reuse.
-
Step 2
If you like to ship priority, you can get free boxes directly from usps.com. You can order as many as you like, and get them delivered right to your home, all cost free.
-
Step 3
Visit your local stores - Don't be afraid to ask around, many stores don't mind saving boxes and packing peanuts for people. Create your own network of stores to pick up free shipping supplies from. This does require a little leg work, but while your competition is paying more than $1.00 a box, you are getting yours FREE!
-
Step 4
Talk to friends and family - Ask them to save boxes and packing supplies for you. Most people throw out their boxes without even thinking. I am sure they wouldn't mind passing them off to you !
-
Step 5
Think smart, once you start using your head to find free shipping boxes, you just might end up with too many!
