Step 1
Go to a hardware store. I usually go to the Ace Hardware store because it is the closest one to my home.

Step 2
Go to the paint section of the hardware store and buy paint or just ask for a paint can lid opener. Generally they just hand them out for free. If you do purchase paint they usually give you about three openers.

Step 3
Go home and open your favorite bottled beverage. I like to hang my bottle opener on the side of the refrigerator, so it does not get lost. If you get more than one you could put one with the paint and one in the kitchen.
