Things You'll Need:
- Two Cakes
- White Frosting
- Shredded Coconut
-
Step 1
Bake two cakes of any flavor. The color and flavor of the cakes don't matter. What does matter is that both cakes much be round.
-
Step 2
Take both cooled cakes out of their pans and place them on top of a large serving tray or a sheet of aluminum foil.
-
Step 3
Place one cake at the bottom of the tray or foil. This will be the head of the bunny.
-
Step 4
Cut the other cake in half. That will be the bunny's ears. You can shape the halves further if you like or use them in their half-circle shape. Arrange them on top of the bunny's head.
-
Step 5
Frost the cake with white icing. Sprinkle shredded coconut on top of the frosting to give it a furry look. Use candy pieces or chocolate chips to make the facial features.

on 1/1/2009 Great idea! I hate having to have special pans for different cakes. It would be really cute with tinted coconut fur.
