Everyday thousands of people embark on new weight loss plans. The one thing that all of these people have in common is that they will give up on the weight loss plan in less then a month. The reason that these people give up on the diet that they chose to follow is that they did not start the plan in the correct way to lose the weight that they wanted. If you do not start a weight loss plan the correct way, you will give up on it before you begin to lose weight.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start your new weight loss plan on a Monday. It has been proven that people are more likely to follow a plan to lose weight when they begin on a Monday. This will give you the weekend to go out and buy any specific food that you may need for your weight loss plan. You can also prepare and package meals and snacks ahead of time on Sunday for your busy week days.

  2. Step 2

Tell your family and friends that you are starting a new weight loss plan to lose weight. It is important to have the love and support of the people around you to be successful in achieving your weight loss goals.

  3. Step 3

Put your goals when it comes to losing weight in writing. It is one thing to think to yourself that you want to lose weight. It is another thing to read a not to yourself saying that you will lose 10 pounds by February.

  4. Step 4

Clear out any food that does not follow your weight loss plan from your house. Out of sight and out of mind. If the food is not available to you, you will be less likely to cheat on your new weight loss plan.
