Things You'll Need:
- 1 Cup Scottish (or similar) Ale
- 2 tsp. Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp. McCormick Seasonal
- 1/4 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
-
Step 1
Choose your favorite cut of steak. It can be any cut sirloin, ribeye, t-bone, or even roast. I have even tried it on chicken and it makes it so moist.
-
Step 2
Place steak in a shallow pan and pour 1 cup of Scottish ale (or similar) and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour. You do not cover pan in the refrigerator.
-
Step 3
Mix 2 tsp. brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. McCormick Seasonal, 1/4 tsp ground pepper and 1/4 tsp. salt in a bowl. Stir lightly with a spoon.
-
Step 4
Remove steaks from ale. Rub dry ingredients on both sides of the steaks and place in another dry pan. Let steaks marinate in the dry ingredients for 30 minutes.
-
Step 5
Preheat a skillet or grill to med high heat add vegetable spray
or vegetable oil and cook to perfection.

on 10/11/2009 What is the McCormick's seasonal? I've looked in several grocery stores and can't find it...I've also checked McCormick's website. Let me know if anyone knows what it is...

on 8/16/2009 I have never eaten at outback before. It is too expensive for one meal. I go other places cheaper. I have heard outback makes delicious steaks though. I could make my steaks at home with your marinade. thanks. 5* and rec.
