Step 1
FINE ARTS:
Go to museums and view different art exhibits. Purchase artwork and involve your child with making choices. Draw, paint and explore various media together. Never criticize your child's artwork. Praise every attempt he makes to create a work of art. Display his artwork on the fridge. -
Step 2
MUSIC:
My husband is a drummer, and my children love to play his drums. They love to watch him play too, and we take them along when he plays for an audience. They enjoy it, and it really seems to boost that desire to play music. Let your child experiment with instruments. Even if you don't own a real instrument, buy a set of rhythm instruments and let your child explore and play with them. Expose your child to music of many different genres. Allow your child to have their own music too. Music lessons are great, and will help develop musical skills to last a lifetime. -
Step 3
DANCE:
Dancing is something kids naturally love to do. Play music and dance together. Take your child to a ballet, like the Nutcracker. You're sure to cultivate a little ballerina instantly if you do. Sign your child up for dancing lessons if she seems interested. Dancing and singing children's videos are great sources for promoting dance.
