      Upon waking, gently washing your face with cold water, leaving the cold wet washcloth on your bags under eyes for several minutes. The colder the better! Not only will this rejuvenate you, it will help tighten the loose vessels which are causing the bags under eyes and reduce the puffiness.

      Dry skin gently, any tugging on the delicate skin around eyes can worsen the bags under eyes. After you have patted the bags under eyes dry, apply Preparation H or generic equivalent to the skin under eyes. Hemmroid salve will help constrict the vessels and reduce the inflammation which has led to bags under eyes. This is actually a fairly quick process, but you will want to leave the salve on for at least a half hour, so do this as soon as you wake.

      When you are ready to apply make up, gently wash the salve off the skin around your eyes. Use a mild soap and a gentle hand while doing this step to avoid further irritation and eye puffiness. Pat the skin dry again and you are ready to go! If you have a cold or allergies which are causing regular bags under eyes, you may want to apply the salve before bed at night.

    I've always heard this but never tried it!!!! But, as you well know, being a mom of three, the bags are getting worse and worse!!! Desperate times are calling for desperate measures!!!! I'll give it a try! Thanks for the information!!
