Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Free Blogger website
  • wordpress
  • donation buttons
  • a cause
  1. Step 1

All you'll need is a free blogging account. Examples are wordpress, blogger and many others. Website are easier and cheaper to create too.

Naming your blog to reflect your article content is as simple as choosing the right website address and registering the selected domain name. Most online domain name registries now offer free five page hosting and free name forwarding and masking to your free blog account.

  2. Step 2

With worldwide depression, violence and hunger, selecting the appropriate not for profit foundation to donate your earnings to is as simple as typing your desired group into google or yahoo search engines.
Red Cross, Dar fur, Green Peace, National Wildlife Foundation NWF or Kids with Cancer, to name just a few.

  3. Step 3

Many open end blogging or column sites like Newsvine offer you a choose to keep your earnings or donate them back to a selected group or organization.
You can even donate back a percentage.

  4. Step 4

Of course running your own website or blog you can add a donation button from pay pal.

A good friend of mine blogs on blogger and reviews cell phones in complete detail. He then has a donation page so willing readers can donate their used and unwanted cell phones to the domestic violence victims.
Of course the cell phones are deactivated and erased giving the user only the ability to dial 911. Yes even a disconnected cell phone has the ability to dial 911 and with the technology advances today they can instantly track the victims location.

  5. Step 5

Not all your writing or blogging has to be for a monetary donation blogging and writing for charitable donations of any kind is always rewarding enough for many writers.

  6. Step 6

Hopefully ehow will add a donation button on ehow. Maybe one of your articles earnings can goto your selected cause.

  7. Step 7

Just a few more potential blog for a cause foundations. Green peace, World hunger, kids miracle network, kids with cancer, diabetes foundation, red cross, American heart, save the tatas Breast Cancer Awareness) even Vietnam and Iraqi war veterans need help. Hopefully those donation links will be available on ehow soon.

Tips & Warnings
  • Blogging for donations, paid directly to the deserving organization and group has always been my reward for writing.
  • Anyone care to write a follow up ehow "How to article on finding reputable organizations to write for?"
  • Never collect donations and not give them to the group or organization you have written for. It' just morally wrong.
