How to get Outlook 2007 to work properly on an Acer laptop, apparently you just disable something and it works fine...

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  1. Step 1

    Go to this website http://www.andremiller.net/content/st
    arting-microsoft-outlook-2007-acer-vista-system-gives-m
svcr80dll-was-not-found-errorstem-gives-msvcr80dll-was-not-found-error or click on GO HERE under resources

  2. Step 2

Follow the steps that are outlined on the webpage, this website took me about a day to find, it really worked! It's pretty easy after wanting to slam my head because I couldn't figure out why Outlook 2007 wouldn't work on my Acer laptop. Apparently there's a compatibility issue and you just need to change a computer setting and Outlook works.

  3. Step 3

Reboot your computer after following all the steps and volia your problems should be solved.... as long as you carefully read the webpage and follow the steps as outlined it should work...didn't realize you had to write a minimum amount for an article, just trying to reach it and taking up some space. good luck i hope this worked out for you all
